Transport projects prepare Britain for premium diversions
More than 50 transport projects have been approved across Britain. Road cones received the news first and have already formed an orange corridor from Oxford to Devon.
The programme includes five strategic road schemes and five major rail upgrades. It links to 42,000 jobs, many of which will involve standing beside a closed lane and pointing at the lane everybody can see.
Ministers also connect the plans to 1.5 million new homes. Future residents may enjoy excellent transport links to the place where excellent transport links will eventually be built.
Temporary lights receive a growth strategy
“This is about reconnecting Britain,” said Miles Tarmac Folder, Director of Transformative Temporary Lights. “No community should be more than twenty minutes from a sign saying delays until 2029.”
The projects cover roads, stations and rail capacity. The most dependable national network remains the replacement bus, which connects any engineering ambition to an unfamiliar car park after dark.
Officials call the investment transformative. Passengers define transformation as watching a departure board change from on time to delayed without any visible human involvement.
Construction will unlock growth and homes across the country. The ceremonial spade broke ground, met an uncharted utility pipe and immediately acquired a planning consultant.
The journey begins after several signs
Britain now has a route towards better roads and railways. The route starts at a diversion, turns left at a cone and continues until further notice.
