Euro 2025 travel advice packs one sensible scarf

Euro 2025 travel advice has urged England and Wales supporters to prepare before visiting Switzerland. That means checking documents, local rules and whether a cowbell counts as hand luggage, rather than trusting Dave because he once changed trains in Lille.

The Foreign Office expects thousands of fans for the tournament. Host cities will provide fan zones, giving visitors a place to enjoy football beyond the difficult ninety minutes when football actually happens.

The Swiss train arrives at the time it announced

Supporters should check advice for Switzerland and any country they cross. This means the traditional plan of follow Dave no longer meets official standards, even if Dave owns a very convincing travel pillow.

“Switzerland rewards preparation,” said Consul Hermione Fondue Satchel of Alpine Chanting. “Its trains arrive on time. Please do not interpret this as a personal attack on British culture.”

Travellers can call 112 for local emergencies. It cannot locate a missing voice, reverse a substitution or explain why someone packed six shirts and no adapter.

The passport shares a pocket with shampoo

The guidance also recommends suitable insurance and secure tickets. Supporters have therefore protected their passports inside the same pocket as a leaking miniature bottle of shampoo.

The first group reached its hotel without incident. Then the lift arrived exactly when promised, and every British guest became briefly suspicious of the building’s motives.

Preparation will make the trip easier. It will not prevent a supporter from buying a commemorative hat in the first ten minutes and carrying it across three borders like a minor diplomatic mission.
